The AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days Event

With a degree in marketing and management from the University of Akron in Ohio, Robert Yanik went on to gain broad experience in sales and construction before coming into his current role in sales and management with Organic Depot in Aguanga, California. When away from work, Robert Yanik enjoys exploring his interest in motorcycles, especially vintage models.

Every year, Ohio's Morrow County hosts the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) Vintage Motorcycle Days, the largest vintage motorcycle event in the US. Participants number in the tens of thousands, and almost 1,000 vendors display their offerings.

The three-day event includes motorcycle races on road and dirt tracks. Most age ranges are welcome to compete in certain categories, and race winners are acknowledged as AMA national champions. There is also a vintage bike show at the event, where best in show awards are given according to their class for American, British, European, and Japanese makes.

Vintage Motorcycle Days also includes entertainment and plenty of socializing where vintage bike enthusiasts from all over the US can meet. Proceeds from the annual event support the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum.
